The mammoth Ankonian Elixir 100 must be one of the most widely used and successful sires of recent times. His progeny raised 400dwt by 50 kgs here without calving difficulty. Recently a son of his, Abberton Ned 202, was chosen to start a new herd/herd book in France at a year old when he weighed 625 kgs adj to 680kgs at 400days. The 3 top females 2009 are Elixir's daughters including Pride Nina 199 destined for Ireland. He is also sire to Abberton Pride Primrose 73 an embryo sister to Netherallen Peter Pershore E052.
